I have spoken earlier about the message being the medium, here in Kim Engels photography i feel that the medium has become a message, her using of the bi- chromate process on these photographs have given these images an " eeriness " which is timeless and beautiful. when i i first spoke to Kim nearly a year ago the only photographers i could think of were Henri Cartier Brusson and Dayanita Singh. Today though i'm fascinated by this art form .
