Graffiti ---everything coming together !
(star of mysore)- Mysore, Mar. 13 (KCU&HT)- Students of Chamarajendra Academy of Visual Arts (CAVA) have embarked upon an innovative idea of painting on dilapidated walls of the city. They are trying to shy away from commercial and stereo-typed art expos held at prestigious art galleries with all fanfare.
CAVA students Shoaib, Smi-tha, Bharathkumar, Viki, Shivu, Bharathi, Santhosh and Trupti have initiated the wall-painting to draw the attention of the public and take away the boredom and stress of daily life.
The students took up the novel work last evening projecting their thoughts and imaginations through painting on walls of closed factories in Yadavagiri Industrial Area here.
Interestingly, the students have chosen only shabby walls possibly to give them a new look and meaning.
